A flying stand for the Valkryie, made from a large GW flying base, a old cd, 1/4" acrylic rod and some plasitic card. I will be adding some detail and basing soon.

Valkyrie
Just a quick update on The Catachan Valkryie, originally I intended to leave the engines metalic. However I realized that it was too much boltgun metal in one location. Also the customer wanted some teeth on the nose, so I modified a pattern from the Flying Tigers..

How time flies
Wow.. It has been over a month since my last post!I have been very busy during the last month with projects, school and the end of summer activities with the kids. No that the fall is here, I will have more time for painting.
At present I am working on a couple of projects for AAG, an Imperial Valkyrie and Strongpoint. Both are really great kits, with lots of options and detail.
The strongpoint is an excellent value. It includes 2 bastions, 3 flak guns, 2 las cannons, 2 comm towers, 12 double wall sections, 12 single wall sections. The strongpoint can be modeled in various different ways and is really easy to assemble.
It would take sometime to scratch build a similar piece of terrain.
Also I took sometime to complete a marine for AAG's month painting contest.
This month is "Think Pink" since this Breast Cancer Awareness month. My daughter has been wanting a Pink and Black army for quite sometime. I think this is the beginning of the "Blackhearts" marine chapter.
